Seven headline angles from a single topic

Staring at an empty title field is a common way to lose twenty minutes. The SEO Title Generator gives you something to react to. Type a topic or main keyword, and it returns seven title drafts, each written in a different editorial style, so you can see how the same subject reads as a list, a tutorial, a question or a debate.

How to generate titles

  1. Enter your subject in the Your Topic / Main Keyword box, for example Learning JavaScript or Real Estate Trends.
  2. Click Generate Titles.
  3. Scroll through the Pick Your Winning Title cards. Each shows its style name (Listicle, How-to, Professional, Question, Opinionated, Comparison or Curiosity) above the headline.
  4. Press Copy Title on the one you want. The button briefly changes to Copied! to confirm.

What each style gives you

  • Listicle: a numbered format, such as 10 Best Ways to Master your topic.
  • How-to: a step-by-step guide framing aimed at beginners.
  • Professional: a guide-style title with strategies and insights.
  • Question: asks whether the subject is still relevant.
  • Opinionated: a bolder claim about doing it wrong and how to fix it.
  • Comparison: sets your topic against traditional methods.
  • Curiosity: teases a secret that experts keep quiet.

Where it earns its keep

A blogger can test which framing suits a post before writing it. A YouTube creator can borrow the comparison or curiosity structure for a video title. A marketer preparing a content calendar can turn one keyword into several distinct article angles. A student can find a tidy heading for an essay draft.

Edit before you publish

These are fixed templates with your topic dropped in, so a few adjustments are almost always needed. The listicle title contains a hard-coded year, 2024, which you should update or remove. Grammar can come out stiff when your topic is a full phrase rather than a noun, as in the How-to style, where the topic follows the words How to. The wording of the Curiosity and Professional options can also sound promotional; tone them down if your brand is understated. Each title should promise only what the page delivers, since a headline that oversells tends to hurt trust and return visits. No length counter is shown, and search results commonly truncate titles at around 60 characters, so shorten longer results by hand. The tool works entirely in your browser and needs no sign-up.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many titles do I get per topic?
You get seven, one for each style: Listicle, How-to, Professional, Question, Opinionated, Comparison and Curiosity. Enter a different topic or reword the same one and press Generate Titles again to get another set.
Why does one of the titles mention 2024?
The listicle template has a fixed year written into it. Change or delete the year in the copied text so the title matches the current year, or remove it entirely if the article is meant to stay evergreen.
What do the High CTR badges mean?
Every card carries the same High CTR badge as a design label. It is not a prediction based on your topic, and the tool does not measure click-through rates, so choose the title that fits your content.
Is there a character limit for the titles?
The tool does not count or limit characters. Search engines often cut off titles somewhere around 60 characters, so check the length of the option you pick and shorten it manually if it runs long.
Can I use a whole phrase as the topic?
Yes, but shorter noun-style topics such as Email Marketing read best inside the templates. A long phrase can make styles like How-to or Question sound clumsy, so rewrite the copied title where needed.
