Craft professional & aesthetic bios for your profile

Draft and style your Instagram bio in one place
An Instagram bio is short and unforgiving: only 150 characters, line breaks that are easy to lose, and plain fonts. This formatter gives you a writing area with a character counter, a row of emoji and separator buttons, and several ready-styled versions of your text so you can pick the look you prefer before pasting it into your profile.
How to build your bio
- Write your text in Compose Your Bio, using line breaks for spacing. Sample loads a demo bio and Clear empties the box.
- Watch the counter in the header. It shows your character total against the 150 limit and turns red when you go over.
- Click the symbol buttons to insert sparkles, a gem, a pin, a rocket, fire, an envelope, a camera, a plant, a vertical bar or a bullet at the cursor position.
- Press Generate Aesthetic Variations.
- Choose Copy Bio on your favorite card, or use Download (.txt) to keep them all.
What each variation does
- Original Clean is your bio unchanged.
- Elegant Cursive swaps English letters for script-style Unicode characters.
- Bold Accent uses bold serif-style Unicode letters.
- Aesthetic Spaced places a space between every character.
- Centered Look adds spaces at the start of each line, based on the line length, to push it toward the middle.
Ideas for using it
- Checking a bio fits the 150-character limit before you open the app.
- Comparing a plain profile with a stylized one for a personal brand or small shop.
- Keeping a collection of alternative bios for seasonal changes or launches.
- Separating role, location and contact lines with symbols for a tidy layout.
Things to check
- The counter measures your original text only. The spaced and centered variations are longer, and the spaced one roughly doubles the length, so it may exceed the limit even when your original does not.
- Instagram may trim leading spaces, so the centered effect might not survive pasting.
- Only English letters are restyled. Numbers, punctuation and emoji stay as they are.
- Stylized Unicode is not always read well by screen readers, and search on Instagram will not match it to plain words. Keep your handle and key terms in plain text.
Everything is generated in the page with JavaScript and you finish the job by pasting into the app.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the character limit for an Instagram bio?
The tool tracks a 150-character limit, which matches Instagram's bio length. The counter shows green while you are within it and turns red once your text goes over that number.
Does the counter include the styled versions?
No. It counts the text you typed in the compose box. Styled versions can be longer, particularly the spaced one, which adds a space between characters, so check the length again after pasting into Instagram.
Which styles does the tool generate?
Five variations: Original Clean, Elegant Cursive, Bold Accent, Aesthetic Spaced and Centered Look. Each has its own Copy Bio button, and you can download them all in one text file.
Will the centered layout stay after pasting?
It might not. The effect uses leading spaces, and Instagram can remove them or display them differently between devices. Preview your profile after saving and adjust if the alignment changes.
Are all characters converted to the fancy fonts?
Only English letters are converted in the cursive and bold styles. Numbers, punctuation, emoji and letters from other alphabets stay as typed, so a bio with such characters will look partly styled.
