Swap keywords for emojis in one click

This tool reads your message and replaces certain everyday words with a matching emoji, so a plain sentence turns into something livelier for a social post, a chat message or a caption. It is a straightforward word-for-emoji lookup, not an AI translator, which makes it predictable: the same word always gives the same emoji, and everything it does not recognise stays exactly as you wrote it.

Using the tool

  1. Type or paste your text in the Your Message box. If you just want to see how it behaves, click Example to load a sample sentence. Paste and Clear work as you would expect.
  2. Click Emoji-fy Text.
  3. The Emoji-fied Result box appears below, with your words replaced and a counter showing how many Emojis Added.
  4. Press Copy Message to copy the finished text and paste it wherever you like.

If you edit the input after converting, the result panel hides itself so you never copy stale output. Just press the button again.

Which words are recognised

The tool has a built-in list of roughly thirty words, including love, heart, fire, hot, smile, happy, sad, cool, sun, moon, star, rocket, money, car, coffee, pizza, code, music, game, party, gift, time, dog, cat, hello, bye, world, check, error and warning. Matching is done on whole words and ignores capitalisation, so Love and LOVE both work, while loved, coffees or fireworks are left alone. The matched word is removed and the emoji takes its place, so the sentence I love coffee becomes I followed by a heart and a coffee cup.

Practical uses

  • Adding personality to a short Instagram or WhatsApp caption.
  • Making a playful team announcement or party invite.
  • Decorating a README status line with check, warning and error symbols.
  • Showing kids how words and pictures can stand for each other.

Limits to expect

Because the dictionary is small and fixed, longer or more formal text may come back with only a few changes, or none at all, in which case the counter shows zero. There is no option to add your own words, choose skin tones or keep the original word alongside the emoji. Plurals and other word forms are not matched. Read the result once before posting, since replacing a word can change the meaning of a sentence, for example when time or world is part of a longer phrase. The conversion runs in your browser using JavaScript.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which words does the tool replace with emojis?
It recognises a fixed list of about thirty words such as love, heart, fire, sun, moon, coffee, pizza, rocket, money, dog, cat, hello, party, check, error and warning. Any word outside the list stays exactly as typed.
Does it match plurals or different word forms?
No. Only whole words are matched, ignoring upper or lower case. Love and LOVE are replaced, but loved, loves, coffees, or fireworks are not, because they are different words from the ones in the built-in list.
Is the original word kept next to the emoji?
No, the matched word is replaced by the emoji entirely. If you want both, add the emoji manually after converting. Words that are not in the list, and all punctuation and spacing, are left untouched.
Why did my text come back unchanged?
The dictionary is small, so text that does not contain any of the recognised words will look the same, and the Emojis Added counter will show zero. Try including words like love, fire, coffee, or party to see the tool work.
Can I add my own words or emojis?
Not in this tool. The word list is built in and there is no field for custom mappings. You can, however, copy the result and add extra emojis by hand using your device's emoji keyboard.
